What are your fees?

No subscription fees, no app fees, and no transaction fees. We only charge a success fee of AED 2,500 upon successful purchase.

How do I participate in an auction?

Register with Motor Mazad by clicking on the registration icon at the top right-hand corner of this page. We will ask you to provide your personal information to confirm your identity. If you wish to participate in any auction, verify your payment method with our third-party payment processor. We will only collect our fees from the winning bidder at the end of the auction. Why do you require my card details for account registration?

It's free to participate in an auction. However, if you are the winning bidder, you must pay our fees as per our terms of service agreement. We ask for your payment details in advance to ensure commitment from your side to completing the full auction process.

Does the description accurately represent the vehicle's condition?

Our professional vehicle inspectors conduct a 116-point comprehensive check to provide a detailed vehicle inspection report. Whilst we take extra caution to ensure that the information made available to you is accurate, we cannot guarantee that it is free from errors. You are responsible for assessing the accuracy of the information and should only rely on it at your own risk. Before placing a bid, call our 800 – MAZAD (62923) for any questions if you have doubts or uncertainty.

Do vehicles come with any warranties?

Motor Mazad will indicate the warranty status on the auction listing. Nevertheless, all vehicles are sold as-is and as-seen with any faults and damages. We will list all areas of visible damage and mechanical defects, subject to prior knowledge.

Can I check the actual car?

We conduct a comprehensive vehicle inspection procedure by professional vehicle specialists. The comprehensive inspection report describes all the information about the car, including damages (if there are any). On top of that, we only use raw and high-resolution images which you can zoom in on, providing you a convenient and state-of-art virtual inspection.

How do I contact the seller?

The winning bidder will receive a call from our business relationship manager and an email at the end of the auction with the seller's contact details.

What is the duration of the auction?

Each auction listing has a countdown which determines the duration of that specific auction lot in days. Any bids placed during the final 30 seconds of the countdown of an auction adds extra 30 seconds to the auction until no additional bids are received. This feature protects bidders from bid sniping.

Can I cancel or withdraw my bid?

By placing a bid, you agree to our Terms of Service agreement and confirm your commitment to finalise the purchase with the seller, should you win the auction. All bids are final and cannot be retracted until the auction ends, in which case, your bid, if not the highest bid, will be refunded to you. Always take careful consideration before placing a bid.

What are bid increments?

A bid increment is a minimum amount a bid must be raised to surpass the current highest bid. For instance, if the current highest bid is 25,000 AED you must place a minimum bid of 25,500 (AED 500 being the increment) for the bid to be successfully registered.

What is a reserve price?

A reserve price is the lowest amount the seller is willing to accept to sell their vehicle. The auction listing will display ‘’Reserve Met’’ banner in green if the reserve price is reached. Some auction listings may not have any set reserve price.

What is a max bid?

A max bid is the highest amount a buyer is willing to pay to buy the vehicle. A max bid may be placed at any time during the auction.

How soon do I have to pay?

You are required to settle the balance with the seller within forty-eight hours (48 hours) from the time the auction ends. Unless otherwise you made payment arrangements with the seller and the seller agreed. The winning bidder fee is deducted from the verified payment method at the end of the auction.

What other costs should I consider?

Before placing a bid, consider these costs, apart from MotorMazad's fees and the purchase price, you are required to pay for the vehicle registration, salik, insurance, recovery, vehicle passing, VAT, and other government charges associated with your purchase to the service providers.

I won the bid. What is the next step?

Congratulations! MotorMazad will call and email you about the seller's contact details. Thereafter, you can reach out to the seller to complete the sales transaction.

How do I prepare for the purchase of the vehicle?

Have the funds ready to complete the transaction. Proceed with the transfer of ownership at the RTA as per the agreement you have with the seller.

The seller failed to complete the transaction. What are my options?

It is rare for a seller to list their vehicle in the auction and then willfully fail to complete a sale. All sellers want to sell. If the seller fails to complete the transaction, contact us immediately. We will speak to the seller to find out the cause of the unexpected change. Where we cannot find a solution, we will provide a full refund of your fees paid to us.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card, debit card, and link payments through our Wallet feature. We also accept cash deposit and bank transfer payments.

How do I make payments with the MotorMazad auction platform?

MotorMazad auto auction has a wallet feature provided for users to top-up through the verified payment methods that we accept. You can top up your wallet by credit card, debit card, cash deposit, payment link, and bank transfer.

How does max bid work?

When a max bid is placed by a bidder, the AI automatic bidding system will be activated for the specific bidder and the specific vehicle the max bid was placed for. In effect, any bidder who places a lower than a max bid will be outbid automatically. The bid amount that the system will place will be based on the bid increments set by Motor Mazad per vehicle. The system will continuously and automatically bid for the max bidder until the max bid is maxed out or until the auction ends.

Is the max bid a guaranteed win?

No. If the max bid is maxed out before the auction ends and/or any other bidder places a higher bid, the max bid will be automatically outbid.

How do I place a max bid?

Any bidder may place a max bid by inputting the amount on the same bid pop-up when bidding. By placing the amount in AED and clicking SUBMIT, the AI automatic bidding system will be automatically activated.

I already placed a max bid; can I place another max bid on the same vehicle?

Yes. You may replace your max bid anytime, provided that it is a higher amount.

Can I bid even if I am outside the UAE?

Yes. MotorMazad is a worldwide auction platform.

What are your fees?

Zero seller fees. No listing fees, no auction fees and no selling fees. You take home the entire proceeds of the sale. We collect our fees from the winning bidder at the end of the auction.

How do I sell my vehicle through MotorMazad?

Register with Motor Mazad by clicking on the registration icon at the top right-hand corner of this page. If you wish to register with us over the phone, contact us at 800-MAZAD. Our dedicated support team will arrange for our qualified vehicle inspector to inspect your vehicle at your location. The vehicle inspector test drives the vehicle and obtains the vehicle's accident and service history information. After the inspection, our professional photographer will take pictures and videos based on our guidelines. Finally, our marketing department will send the listing link to you with a write-up about your vehicle for approval. With your approval, the vehicle will then be uploaded to the live auction listing on the set date and time agreed upon with you. To ensure your commitment to selling the vehicle exclusively through the MotorMazad online auctions throughout the duration of the auction, we will block a minimal pre-authorized amount from your credit card, which will be returned to your account at the end of the auction.

Do I have to disclose the true vehicle condition?

Yes, absolutely! Deliberately hiding and refraining from disclosing important information about the vehicle is an act of fraud and will disqualify your vehicle for the auctions.

Who will post my vehicle in the auction?

With your approval, we will post your vehicle in the auction within the same business day of the inspection. Based on the information you provide, we will create an accurate and attractive description of your vehicle and post it with multiple high-resolution photos and videos that match that description. This is to ensure that all listings are accurate and comply with the platform's policies and guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns about the posting process, you can contact the platform's customer support for assistance.

How do I prepare for the sale of the vehicle?

Please prepare any books, manuals, service invoices, spare keys, and every document related to your car. Clear the fines on your traffic file number. Pay the outstanding bank finance and request the mortgage release with the bank. If you don't have a valid passing certificate, try to obtain one from the RTA vehicle testing centre. Also, give your vehicle a good wash before our vehicle inspector visits you. We will be taking photographs of your vehicle that will go on our live auction.

What is a reserve price?

What happens if it does not reach the reserve price?

The end of an auction does not mean that your vehicle will not sell. We will contact you and discuss other options you have such as, re-listing, listing under buy now, or considering the second-highest bid. It is not over until we find a solution for you.

I sold my vehicle. What is the next step?

Congratulations on your sale! You will receive an email that includes the winning bidder's contact details. You can now reach out to the winning bidder to complete the transaction.

How do I receive my payment?

Choose your preferred payment method, whether that be cheque, cash, or bank transfer. Inform the winning bidder and make sure you receive CLEARED funds before transferring the legal ownership of the vehicle.

The winning bidder failed to complete the transaction. What are my options?

We follow a thorough identifying process and verify the payment method of all participating bidders. It's unlikely to happen but not impossible. If you are in this situation, contact us immediately. We will investigate it and find a solution for you.
